He would have liked to talk about it, to pull the details out of her and compare it to what he remembered recently. It was clear that she wasn't interested in such things and was guarding herself, which meant that she had gotten into some kind of trouble when she had left over three days ago. He remembered well the man who had come, the look he had given her and he lifted his flesh hand to rub his chin in a wholly human gesture, showing the window beyond that he was fast losing the training of standing perfectly still and giving nothing away.
"It is better than staring at the walls," he agreed softly, watching her out of the corner of his eye, ignoring his books for a lack of interest in them. "Basic training?" He considered that seriously for a few minutes, relating it to the messages he had received; out of his cell would make it easier for extraction, wouldn't it? "I won't hurt anyone unless ordered to," he finally agreed with a shrug.
If she told him to hurt someone, he would. If his handlers came and ordered him, he would do just that. It was an order after all.
