The sudden fury he saw in his eyes didn’t surprised her, the problem was that she wasn’t sure if the fury was aimed at her or to the people that had brought so much pain to him or maybe it was aimed to both, she was after all making him recall this things, probably things he hadn’t even paused to think about that much or in much depth, but she had needed to know and maybe she was regretting that need to know.
When he took a seat, still seething in fury and she could tell due to his body language, she didn’t say anything for a long time since she wasn’t sure what she could tell. His question sent a sudden and quick pang of dread, did she really wanted to know what that worst part was? Was she ready to know? Did he need to tell her to take another step to break away from whatever had been done to him? She pondered on that for a bit before she made a choice and one that she was possibly going to regret. “What’s the worst part, Bucky?”
There was another bout of silence; this one was a rather accepting one since she couldn’t exactly say much about that, even when they had been on the field back during the war they had rations to make things quick. “And that was enough to sustain you?”
