The fact that he was showing this much anger could either be a good or a bad sign, compared to how he had been when she first saw him, where he was so blank and controlled with his reactions. This could be taken as a sign that whatever was done to him was breaking and falling apart at the seams, but that could also mean that he could easily be more volatile than before, he could have attacked her and the only reason he probably hadn’t was because she was the only steady and solid link he had, but what about other people, they will need to be careful.

Her breath caught a bit when he moved closer and she sat so, so still while she allowed it to happen and she wasn’t supposed to be allowing this close, but she couldn’t help it and honestly she wasn’t even sure if she shivered or not when she felt his breath against her ear. However that was soon forgotten and she could literally feel her heart breaking, yes, she was regretting her choice but it was what she had chosen and she tried oh so hard not to reach up to him and try to soothe him, hoping that got rid of the pain on his voice. “…and what will you have done if you hadn’t lost?”
