He wasn't yet letting her off of the table, his eyes flicking to her when it seemed that she had flushed from neck to hairline. That sort of reaction was not one that he was used to, and he peered at her as if she might try to explode or fall down with a sudden illness. His arms loosened just a bit in case he was squeezing her too hard, but he didn't think that he was. What was she reacting to then?
