Had he really said that? Perhaps she referred to the person that he had a bit of a grasp on but still seemed very foreign to him. He suspected that even now he wouldn't be embarrassed if he had been that person back then either, but he had no idea. He didn't remember enough to be certain, but she knew and sounded certain so he was content with that. "Maybe, I don't know if it will all come back." He wondered if she knew if that possibility was going to happen or not. Would she still like him if he couldn't remember everything or even miss some of the important aspects?

How could she not know which order he had broken when she had only really given him one to begin with? "You ordered me not to kill anyone, but I could have. I shouldn't have thrown that..." he trailed off and turned his head enough to peer at her with one eye. "Are you going to punish me or... just let me get away with it?"
