He admitted that he wasn't surprised by her denial to let him up, to release him from the metal around his forearms and the chains that forced him to stay in place. He actually would have been more surprised if she had let him go, risked being with him unbound and free. So far she had done nothing to warrant his violence, but there were not many situations where he was treated this way either. Thankfully he didn't remember most of them, preferring to be blank so he could do the mission and shake off familiarity. "These restraints won't hold me long if I decide I don't want them on. I just need to move around, work my muscles."

He would have liked to point out that it wasn't a different situation at all, just that the room was slightly altered. He didn't because, in his own way, he was still expected to have someone come in and give him the mission objective, the target and the intelligence for where it would happen. Her question though caused him to glance at the camera up near the roof. "Waking up in a train," he said simply. "I killed people there."
