His eyes flicked over her at the wince, but he was used to standing with his own pain and injuries and making no complaints. Because she made no complaints and didn't seem particularly upset about them, he assumed that she was the same as him. That she lived through the pain, saw the other side, and thought little of the in between of healing quickly. "I was only thawed for missions," he said simply, shrugging his shoulders a bit. "They put training and behaviour modification around those times." He shifted his weight on his feet, glancing over to the agents nearby on high-alert. "Maybe they'll behaviour modify me soon."
He knew that behaving outside of the set parameters involved some kind of modification depending on his transgression and the reason for it. The only reason he knew because he felt it in his limbs, memory in his body, of blood and thrashing though no actual memory flashed before his eyes. The body remembered even if his mind didn't.
She was the only one who was legitimately kind to him, and he felt a connection to her. It was why he wanted to be closer to her than other people; it was safe with her. "I want to remember you more," he uttered softly, glancing again when the agent came closer. His left hand flexed but there was no threat to either of them so he said and did nothing more. So, he was going back to a little room, was he? He looked to her for direction. "If you aren't going to come and see me now and again, I won't stay in any room they make for me."
