For a long moment, he considered her words, probably far longer than a man required for it. His thoughts drifted over their similarities, and there was an odd comfort to knowing that they were in this room together but the same. He might not consider that much more was difference, that there was a distinct lack of punishment and training, but it was similar enough that his mind latched onto it and pulled it in.
"You have few limits and you've assigned missions without question," he said softly and turned his head to look at her. His expression was still neutral, his eyes flicking to where she had been injured and wondering if it was healed now. "You're like me," he finally added softly. "A weapon to point at the enemy. It's... nice not being alone."
