He didn't move at all in the position that he had been rooted in, listening to the debriefing and easily drinking in the information that he was given without even a twitch of a muscle for it. His gaze moved around the members of the team, but they always returned to the woman near the back, finding her drawing him closer but was unable to move the distance. He was to stay still for debriefings.

Yet, he was keen enough as people began to leave to catch the look that passed between her and another man. His head tilted slightly in consideration and when the clones were called back, he made no move to close the distance to bash the man's skull in. It was really only that which saved the other, and he had no consideration for life in that regard. He simply knew it would have happened.

Instead, his head turned so it was clear that he was staring right at Sarah, drinking her in as she was called to heel. Could he call her to heel? No, he was only allowed to give orders on missions or when given leave to in training. Otherwise, he was a passive entity, a mockery of the man he had been so many years ago.
