Oh he knew very well where he stood in comparison to her when it came to Rogers' good graces. However, he ironically knew where he stood in the good graces of the man that Steve was bumbling around looking for as well, and that could just make a wonderful reunion if they learned how to get along at all. Of course, no one else knew that, and there was no point in letting that slip in the streets. He prided himself on keeping some important information to himself.

"Yeah, now everything is clear and clean by my eyes," he agreed with a smirk because it had been similar to how it had been before the helicarrier broke up the moment that they had been trying to have on the forty-first floor together. "I haven't been this clear since jumping out of a building with you. You sure know how to get the adrenaline pumping."

He glanced to either side of the area they were standing in before he gestured a little with his head. "You want to come over and have a sit down. I think we have some unfinished business and since you haven't walked away yet, I figure that you're not going to."
