There was no point in running from the Soldier. He was known for taking down an army by himself. What chance did a clone have against him? None, that's what, but it was the first thing Sarah had learned. Whenever danger was there, you ran. You ran until you think you're safe, or until you had the upper hand. The next lesson was always come prepared. If she had stuck to her lie, or coldly, she might have avoided the confrontation. She ran down the hall, recalling where each corridor lead to. As long as she avoided the turns that lead to dead ends, she might have a chance.

Her chances went up in flames within a matter of seconds. He was there, blocking her exit. Fuck, she really hated life and HYDRA right now.

She glared at him, wishing his handler would call him back and leave her be. Sarah wanted to be anywhere else but here. If she learned to control her tongue she would not be in this mess. She couldn't lie, nor could she avoid the question itself. Would he beat the answer out of her? What lengths would he go to find out? And why did he care?

"No," Sarah was being foolishly stubborn, but that had always been her flaw.

"I don't have t'answer you."
