He didn't need to see her to know that she was still in the apartment that he had. Even if she decided to make a jump out the window, they had been close enough and associated long enough where he would be good to avoid having contact for a little while and for that he was thankful. He put away his groceries and folded up the paper bag. No point wasting those. They were dead useful for certain things.

He padded out of the kitchen and regarded her sitting on the couch with a clear line to getting out quickly. "I've done much worse, so this place isn't half bad. It will suit me a little longer." He certainly wasn't going to stay here long term, couldn't risk it. He moved to the couch and sat on the opposite side to her. "Your welcome to stay for however long as you want. I don't murder guests in their sleep, just so you know."
