Brock certainly wasn't adverse to living out the nuclear scenario because there was something morbidly entertaining about that kind of fall out where he imagined himself on a boat fishing for the last days of his life. A man like him really had simple needs. Family wasn't one of them, and he didn't think that it ever would be even after finding his bond. Good thing neither of them wanted to touch each other.
