med-evac helicopters in Vietnam, mom's a civilian pilot, light aircraft,
helps with search and rescue up in the mountains when she can."
A shrug, "It sounds dumb saying it out loud, I know it does, it's why I
don't say it often, but when the program was offered I knew it was what I
was supposed to be doing."
