[He snuggled close to Steve, enjoying the rise and fall of the water as each wave washed onto the shore. There was a distinct comfort of being home after a long time away, and it was made better with their kisses as his left arm curled around Steve's shoulders to hold himself to his mate. His tail kept a good grip as well, and he doubted he would lose either mate or baby to the rocking water.
