[There was something so empowering in finding Steve's gaze on him like that. It was like he was the only one on the land or sea that could attract his friend's attention in such a way. It made it so easy to fall into this pleasure that they were sharing together for the second time in so many hours. He felt so complete, no longer alone and searching for something. It had been found in Steve.

He followed the motions set by his friend, thrusting his hips against Steve's as he held the other boy close as he cut through the water. It felt so good, his body warm and flush with life as he nipped carefully at Steve's jawline.]

[ And that response is so unexpectedly mundane, and just a touch sullen that Steve can't help but be quite bemused at it. ] Neighbors start yelling -- and it's not because I sing well.

[That answer was so unexpected that he laughed musically, twisting them in the water even as their hips continued with the rhythm of thrusting. [ Oh, listen to him, the beauty of his song. Steve was enraptured, and he loved the way he laughed, everything about Bucky that drew him in and made him perfectly happy to drown with him if he so asked.

He curled close to Bucky's hands, seeking his touch, wanting so badly to be soothed and cuddled by him. This was different, but it was oh so good, especially the way that his erection was trapped between their bodies. His song ended with a final long trill as he came, filling the spot between them but that was washed away almost instantly as he held Steve hard against him.
