The words almost had him pausing in step, pausing to look over at Steve to make certain those words were accurate, but he didn't. He kept walking away with the other man at his heels. They were broken together, so perhaps together they could fix the matter as well.
"With all our enemies, we might just find ourselves walking that path," he said softly. He was prepared for it, was even looking forward to it a bit. "The sewers."
