No one escaped him when he wanted to find them, and there was no way that he was going to let this single opportunity slip away from him regardless of how annoyed she might be with him. She was easy to ire, but her emotions tended to boil into something warm and pleasurable, so he wasn't going to complain much. It was all part of getting what he wanted.
