He waited for her to make her call, though he knew that it would most likely be tracked by interested parties on what was going on inside. No team was sent in yet, and he was mildly disappointed for that as he had hoped to showcase some of his more elite skills for her, to show her that he was still top of his game regardless of not having a mission commanded to him. He would prove to her that he was worthy of her attention.
