There was only so much to push a man without some sort of outside help like chemicals or restraint or conditioning. He knew that, so he also knew when to slowly back off the pressure on Steve, easing his weight away a bit. A broken soul needed to be put back together slowly with the right pressures.

He looked around and then nodded. "I know of a few places we can hide out. It will have to be just us though, at least for a little while." He shifted as he rose and offered Steve a hand. "Come, I'll show you the way."
