"Because I was curious about your skills or lack of," James replied with another smirk, this one plainly teasing. He knew that Steve hadn't kissed people before, or at least he thought that. That didn't seem like the kind of thing Steve could hide from him after all.

He also noted that Steve was still clinging to him like a little monkey. He said and did nothing to dislodge his friend.
