He appreciated the flush that stained her cheeks, finding that he hadn't earned one of them from her in a very long time. Normally flushes came to her face to indicate an asthma attack or after fighting someone in an alleyway, so this was far more pleasant and something to be savoured. She loved him after all, and he loved her, which was pretty much the only excuse to flirt with her and see if she would blossom up before him. He knew she wasn't like the others; she was a keeper after all.
