James was way too used to getting his way around her in some cases, so this was really just saving him having to really bribe her to come to his side. He knew that she needed the down time, the return to something so familiar to them, as he did and there was no denying how much they had always enjoyed it. Before it had been a friendly gesture, a bonding of them together. He didn't let it feel any different even if he knew that others might think of it that way now that she had filled out and saved his life. He had always believed in her.
He slipped an arm around her waist, nestling down behind her comfortably. "I didn't like picking you up on the other side of them, but I respected that you stood up for what you believed in. That was more important," he replied, resting his cheek against her eat, allowing himself to relax against her. "I'm glad you never change."
