Stephanie supposed that right now there was supposed to be a different meaning for them doing this, but it didn’t exactly felt different altogether, except for the fact they had apparently stopped beating around the bush when it came to feelings, not that she thought they had been exactly doing that all these years, no matter what their parents and rest of the people around them had claimed, in that case she supposed this shift in their feelings had happened as the natural course of things like most aspects of their friendship.

There’s a light laugh at that and she shook her head a bit. “It wouldn’t have hurt you to tell me that more often, instead of scolding me so much.” And God, he had nagged at her so much back then and it was clear she wasn’t the only one that could do that, with a small smile she moved to press a bit more against him. “Let’s see if you keep thinking like that later.”
