Steve looked down at the ground for a moment trying to control his breathing, because really how could he have been so stupid. He really needed to learn some impulse control.
"I just don't want you to hit me, I couldn't handle that, and I figured if I just left then I could live my life thinking you weren't mad at me, even though you probably are," Steve said in a rush, shrinking back slightly.
"What does me being a virgin have to do with anything anyway?" Steve said softly, as he shuffled back to the couch and sat down.
