She prodded him on the chest, maybe a bit too hard but it was to make a point here. “Stop being such a drama queen, and damn right I am your hero right now, it was about time I got that role.”
Again she bit her lip and slowly nodded. “I think I am or at least Peggy mentioned that I was allowed to do as much.” And she trusted Peggy a bit more about letting that happen than colonel Phillips, but she really hadn’t actually looked at anyone in particular and she really wasn’t surprised when he offered, she knew that was going to come and she just smirked at him. “Oh is that so? Well I might need to consider it then, but I first need to make sure you’re alright and fully recovered.”
