“I always knew you never minded my reasons, I think you complained more about my methods of trying to achieve them.” And really it’s not as if she had been looking to fight all the times, she had tried to talk but then only words –as rightful as they might have been, had always pissed people off since quite clearly no one wanted to hear they were wrong or that they were being scolded by someone that should mind her own business and know her place. And well now she felt a bit bad that she had probably hurt him a bit. “Ah sorry…” And alright, she’s not going to complain about that kiss, though she might need to get used that was now a thing they did.
For a few moments she thought his reason was revenge or something against Hydra, but then she remembered that she hadn’t told him that’s what she was supposed to be doing and that his reason was probably her, considering the shift in their relationship, but then she knew even if that hadn’t happened he will still more than likely offer to go with her. “Very well, soldier, I will keep it in mind and mention it to the Colonel and Miss Carter.” And she was really, she really couldn’t refuse him now, she will just need to keep an eye on him. “Now you said you wanted to rest, so better take that chance now, right?”
