Well, he had seen her efforts to talk about it and stop it from happening, but bullies were cowards and anyone who thought otherwise was a fool. They enjoyed picking on smaller people, but they were quick to turn tail when they realized they were outmatched. It was unfortunate that Stephanie hardly ever out matched them when she talked them down. It just made her a target, but he hadn't stepped in until he had known where it would go.
