[Steve felt his shoulders hitch up practically to the lobes of his bright-red ears. And they'd gotten redder with Bucky going on ahead and calling it right out. He tried at covering himself up, shaking his head. All that still wouldn't matter since he ended up tongue-tied and hapless every time a gal did look more than twice at him. He went into every double-date that Bucky arranged more than sure that both girls would end up gravitating to his best friend by the time the night was over. That was Bucky's sheer magnetism. No helping it. He could hardly imagine it working any other way. ] Christ, c'mon. Don't be crass.

[Thank god one of them could at least think on the problem. Grabbing a spare pair of slacks solved the worst of the problem because Bucky's shirt definitely wasn't going to make a cut towards modesty. Tying it around his waist from the front only framed his groin, flipping that around gave him a billowing apron that left his ass on display.] No, we'll get the pants but I'm just gonna- I'll shift back once we've got them.

[He needed the practice anyway, didn't he? Steve pushed the shirt back to Bucky and crouched down. When he shifted his time he already knew how to reach for that rippling part that already felt far more familiar than being right on the same eye-level as Bucky was. Back to being huge, four-legged and furred he shook the tingling sensations from the change out and walked his paws forward stretching while he waited for Bucky to gather up the rest of the stuff into the pack. Steve ranged towards other edge of the clearing and then came trotting back to keep pace at Bucky's side as they made their way out.]

Just call me 'Tiny'. [He grinned, glancing up.] Your really big, wolfish dog who comes up past your waist. The good thing is that I heard them saying they're shipping out men for basic practically the same week that they sign up at this point. Might not have find a whole new wardrobe in that case.
